Hello BitQuick Users,
On August 1st, the Bitcoin network split resulting in the creation of a new chain with a new token called Bitcoin Cash (also known as BCH). Any BitQuick sellers that had bitcoin on the platform received an equivalent amount of Bitcoin Cash tokens. For more information about Bitcoin Cash, please see our previous blog.
All sellers that had Bitcoin on BitQuick during the split have been emailed instructions about how to redeem their Bitcoin Cash. In order for us to return BCH to these sellers, we will need for each of them to provide us with a BCH address. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash addresses look the same, so please make sure you are giving us an address from a Bitcoin Cash wallet. If you don’t have one, we might recommend looking into Coinomi for Android phones (choose “BitcoinCash” from the list). BitGo will be releasing support for BCH in their web wallet in the near future as well. A more comprehensive list of wallets can be found here.
